Dreaming About Chickens

I once had a dream where there were all these chickens nesting in moss. In dream symbolism, a chicken represents fertility though I found an interesting interpretation that I like better and makes more sense with regard to my life.

"The chicken is a transitional creature, one poised on the liminal threshold of change. They must be aware in darkness, for they wake in that time and place and know to look for the light; they are the early worshippers of the enduring cycle of life. To eat a chicken is to re-imagine the holy circle—a life is darkened, a light is transferred. To become a chicken is to ascend the wheel of karma, as it is a more purified creature."

Then why a photo of moss?
I couldn't find any chickens.

Not a good photo, just a reminder that I took my camera into the hospital to get my labs done and was concerned that security might freak out and accuse me of being a terrorist. Mostly when I have my labs done, I experience terror. I have no interest in terrorizing.

Had to redo the labs work for CA125 (cancer antigen). In July, the numbers were not good. Higher than they had ever been though we were hoping the higher numbers were due to recent surgery. So now we shall see the results on Aug 25th.

I'm not complaining. Life is good each day.

I took Bella for a walk down near the ocean and got about 2 feet from my car before there were people saying how cute she is. She didn't want to walk much. I had to carry her because of the surfers, surfboards, harleys and chaos that was taking place. Finally I carried her to the edge of the cliff and took a few photos.
